Usually January feels like it is 45 days long but this year January 2019 flew by! Having bought a new planner for 2019, I diligently planned for the year. My financial, career, personal, relationship, travel and bucket list goals were all laid down to set me off for the year to come. This January I started a fitness journey and a instagram account @carolinegetsit to have some accountability along the way. In posting near enough every day in January, I found that I can be consistent!
Having finished my PSC course at the end of 2018, I officially waved goodbye to studying and exams. Already this January has taught me to stop making excuses to pursue my goals. I have put working long hours coupled with studying as a reason for not committing 100% to my non-work related goals but this must stop!
My instagram page for my fitness journey has instilled some accountability so I am hoping to use my blog as a place to have some accountability on other areas of my life. Here are some of goals I will be fiercely striding towards this year:
Financial Goals 2019
- Save £10,000 towards a house deposit.
- Boost my credit score.
- Use my credit card sensibly.
Travel Goals 2019
- Visit two new countries.
- Do a solo trip abroad.
Career Goals 2019
- Finally qualify as a solicitor.
- Negotiate a higher salary come pay review time.
Personal Goals 2019
- Build my blog.
Now that we are already down one month it will be great to see where I get to with my goals by December 2019. I definitely have a bit more accountability this year at the very least!
